When Moxie, a human aspiring artist fresh out of high school, stumbles across Tom, a handsome WWII veteran turned vampyre, she has to quickly adapt to the reality of supernatural monsters in the world. Human monsters, however, she’s been well aware of and Tom is nothing of the kind in more ways than one. In fact, he might just be the key to her freedom in this era of sock hops and white picket fences.

Johnny “Tom Cat” thought his life had ended on the battlefield only to discover his ending would be far longer and excruciatingly slower leading him to drift across the United States wondering if he should simply…stop. Despite rejection and haunting memories that plague his every feigned breath, Tom finds that Moxie’s unconventional bright spirit just might be the one thing able to penetrate his darkness and resurrect his ability to live.
