Sherlock Holmes is commissioned to examine the profitability of a prison on a penal planet. Together with Dr Watson and the robot Elmer, he gets to know the director of the institution, who rules with an iron fist. A revolt occurs, during which Holmes wants to mediate and solve the murder of an inmate.
