Tiger Standish: The Woman with the Gaudy Past, by Sydney Horler: narrated by Michael Henrik Wynn

When Ian Fleming published the first James Bond novel in 1953, he was not the first Englishman to write sensationalist spy fiction. During the First World War, William Le Queue (1864–1927) had transformed the German Kaiser into the very first Bond villain. And during the Second World War, Sydney Horler (1888–1954) created Tiger Standish, a character slightly similar to James Bond.
