Elaine Rowe is a Toronto writer who likes to write for children (and others) about unexpectedly talented animals and resourceful women. After years of hiding her light under a bushel, she decided to see if anyone else likes her stories. This one is about a meeting of a Wednesday morning women's writers group that takes a sudden and surprising turn--but the group manages things very nicely.
