This story begins in the Roaring Twenties on the French Riviera, where the family of a talented American psychiatrist is vacationing. They are loved, charming, rich - and happy. At least, that's what the young actress, in love with the doctor, thinks until she hears an inhuman howl coming from the bathroom.
And the doctor, who married his patient, thinks that with every "right" step he takes, he is getting further and further from something infinitely important.
"Tender is the Night" is not only a novel, but also a confession by F. Scott Fitzgerald. This is a book about a generation that was promised too much, and about love that does not save.
