ABOUT THE ORIGINAL BOOK

The Fifth Season, by N. K. Jemisin, tells the story of a world called the Stillness, which is prone to devastating cataclysms known as Seasons. The narrative follows three different characters, Essun, Damaya, and Syenite, whose lives are interconnected, though they are separated by distance and circumstance.
