The olive tree is native to the Mediterranean basin; wild olives were collected by Neolithic people as early as the 8th millennium BC. Today the olive and its oil represent a fundamental part of the Mediterranean, and particularly Spanish diet. Cold pressed virgin olive oil is a natural product that is very easy to digest. It has become famous as one of the world’s healthiest oils. We’re here to find out how the green gold of Spain is produced.
