Dr.S.Chitra has over three decades of service as Associate Professor in English. Currently she is working as a Principal in Govt. Arts college, Ariyalur. Her areas of interest include Partition Literature, Tamil Sangam and Vaishnavite Literature. She had translated a few short stories, a play and Rajam Krishnan's Paathaiyil Pathinda Adigal Tamil biographical fiction about Manalur Maniammal into English. The audiobook is based on this translation.
