Empty Hands

Arthur Stringer (1874 – 1950) was a Canadian novelist, screenwriter, and poet who later moved to the United States. In Empty Hands, the spoiled only daughter of a wealthy father is banished by her parent away from the bright lights. This young flapper nearly drowns in a canoe, but is saved by one S
