Alex has always had an idyllic life. Living and working on her best friend Cynthia's sprawling family farm, raising their children side by side. Until one night, when Cynthia's eighteen-year-old-daughter Hannah disappears without trace.

Soon Alex's life is spiralling out of control as she questions everything she thought she knew and everyone she trusted. When local detective, Stefani Warner, starts investigating Hannah's disappearance, one person is quickly singled out: Daniel, Alex's nineteen-year-old son.

In a panic, Alex lies to protect Daniel. But as her lies begin to multiply, Alex is becoming trapped.
