Fujimoto Coco, a 36-year-old native Japanese language instructor, was born in Nagoya, an industrial city in Japan. As a third-generation Zainichi Korean, she came to Korea to trace her mother’s roots. Since then, she has been actively working as a Japanese language educator, an artistic interpreter and translator, and a Korea-Japan researcher, dedicating herself to becoming a bridge of communication between the two nations.

In this book, Fujimoto Coco shares not only her professional experiences in Korea but also the emotional journey and lessons she encountered while discovering her own identity. Rooted in her deep affection for Korean society and her sense of mission, she has continuously set new goals and worked tirelessly to achieve them.
